Who We Are

LifeCare Ministries encompasses both LifeCare Pregnancy and Family Resource Center and His helping hands, used clothing store. LifeCare Ministries is a Pro-Life ministry, proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ and offering Biblically based support and guidance to anyone in need of help with pregnancy, post-abortive and other family needs.

What we now know as LifeCare started in 1991 as Corry Crisis Pregnancy Center. The name was changed to LifeCare Pregnancy & Family Resource Center in 1996. We operate as a Christian, pro-life pregnancy center. Our goal is to affirm and assist those who come to us, provide support to women, men and children who are experiencing the challenges of pregnancy, parenting, adoption and abortion, and to provide education about sexual risk avoidance, STI’s and healthy relationships, ALL as we uplift the name of Christ. LifeCare is one of over 600 CareNet affiliated centers located throughout the US and Canada. All of the programs and services offered by LifeCare in our office are Christ-centered and based on biblical teaching. Our sexual risk avoidance, STI education, and general health and character building education for youth are available to all public schools, as well as private schools and church groups. ALL programs and services made available through LifeCare are FREE.

In 2009, we began an outreach ministry called His Helping Hands. Our recently remodeled clothing store is located on the first floor of our building. We offer clothing and shoes for the family at very reasonable prices. As with the pregnancy center, it is funded only by donations. We are staffed by volunteers, with the exception of our store manager. Any profit made in the store directly supports the pregnancy center. Clothing donations are accepted 24 hours a day through our convenient drop-off location at the front door.
